Boris Rijksen developed a fascination for design at an early age. Growing up surrounded by his graphic designer mother's portfolios and browsing his father's car magazines, he became captivated by logos, ads, and typography.

That early curiosity grew into a fourteen-year career as a graphic designer, art director, and design director, working across freelance and in-house roles. Along the way, typography became more than a craft; it became a focus. And Boris continues to explore type as a foundation for his work.

Boris Rijksen Studio was founded out of a need to approach projects with an experimental mindset. BRS operates in a flexible structure, collaborating with a network of designers, motion designers, and developers to tackle projects of all scales, from small to large.
